雅尼（Yanni），当今世界著名的新世纪音乐作曲家和演奏家，全名雅尼·克里索马Yanni
利斯，1954年出生在希腊南部的一个海滨小镇。少时因为家境不好，无法受到正规有序的音乐教育，但这并不能抑制他与生俱来的音乐天赋的成长。他可以不需要任何谱子而仅凭超人的记忆，准确地记下听过的任何音乐中的每一个音符。
雅尼，通常被称作新世纪音乐家，但在他的自传里，他更倾向于称自己的音乐为现代器乐（Contemporary Instrumental）。1972年，雅尼由希腊赴美国明尼苏达大学留学并提前获得心理学学士学位。出于对音乐的热爱，毕业后雅尼走上了音乐之路。1980年，雅尼录制了第一张专辑《Optimystique》，之后，雅尼的优秀作品不断问世，并日益获得人们的好评。雅尼至今已有十余张专辑并在世界各地举办过音乐会，如希腊卫城，印度泰姬陵，中国故宫，英国伦敦，美国拉斯维加斯音乐会。
On December 16-17, 2011, Yanni – music’s true world citizen and most popular contemporary composer, fulfilled a 20-year-old dream to perform at the beautiful and historic 16th century Castillo San Felipe Del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Backed by his world-renowned orchestra, the performance features favorites from throughout Yanni’s career. The concert was shot in hi-definition and mixed with 5.1 surround sound.
